My london london bridge… Or not

London Bridge is the first single from Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie’s debut album The Dutchess. It had the second highest jump on the Hot 100 ever, from number 84 to number five. By its third week on the Hot 100 it jumped from number five to number one due to high download numbers and a major increase in airplay. It will be released on September 11, 2006 in the UK.

    the tower / london bridge debate is often sparked in my scout group, ‘cos the badge for greater london north is clearly tower bridge, though tons of ignoramuses / ignorami (?) think it is london bridge. see for yourself: http://www.edsb.org.uk/images/GLN.gif (this is also the badge for greater london south west, but the “north” part is changed to “south west” )

    thus ends this debate of a failed attempt at introducing architectural wonders into music :P

    We, at the Grovers Explorer Scout Unit, have never bothered wearing badges or the proper explorer scout shirt – instead, we got our own cool shirt made. Why does anyone at your scout group actually care about what is on the badge?
