England could have stood a chance if they won on penalties and if Rooney didnt get himself sent off, oh well there is always next year…..next time.

OK...a brief summary of the various things I am/do: 1. Computer Scientist 2. Musician (mainly piano, percussion and arranging). 3. I used to do kayaking and sailing and stuff, but got bored and cold. 4. The Cambridge University Ireland Society representative for Fitzwilliam College.
I can't be bothered.
At least England can say that France did exactly the same thing as them: 1 man sent off, and lost in a penalty shoot-out.
