9/11, Five years on..

5 years on I would like you to remember my mum’s 2nd cousin who died in the attacks in New York. Her name was Melanie de Vere.

You may have seen tv programs with her in:

“9/11 – The Twin Towers - BBC

Based on the testimonies of survivors, victims’ families, emergency workers and city officials, the film opens with a glimpse of the everyday world of work and office life. Melanie de Vere, a 30-year-old British publishing executive, is helping to host a conference in the North Tower, and Stanley Praimnath is a banker devoted to his religion and family. ”

I ask you to keep her and her family in your prayers.
